Religious Education

St. Andrew Church offers a 1st grade through 8th grade religious education program for families whose children attend public schools.  We are committed to providing families whose children are attending public school with a faith-based education including two-way communication, accountability, respect, fairness for all, and helping your child/children become lifelong learners and receive the sacraments of the Catholic faith. Parents, teachers, the administrator, and the pastor all work together to help the students succeed. Working together we share the responsibility of guiding your child's/children's growth--spiritually, intellectually, morally, emotionally, physically, and socially.

Dear St. Andrew Parishioners:

As your children prepare for their academic classes, it is also important to prepare for their Religious Instruction. The Church calls you, the parents, grandparents, Godparents, and as parishioners too, we all are the first educators of your children. At your child’s Baptism, you accepted this role of helping them to grow in their Faith Life. To assist you in this important work, together we will work to help their Faith Life and friendship with Jesus to grow.

We are also looking for interested individuals to assist with teaching the children. Requirements include being a baptized Catholic, living your Faith, and a willingness to serve and share your Faith with others. Assistance will be given. Please call the parish office if interested (815-625-4508).
